Graduation Requirements for Baldwin HS
Minimum Program Requirement
A Board of Education policy requires that all Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors carry yearly programs with a minimum of 6 units, plus physical education. Seniors will be scheduled for a minimum of 5 units plus physical education. All Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors are fully scheduled for 8 periods of classes and a lunch period. Seniors are scheduled for a minimum of 7 periods of classes and a lunch period. Additionally, students are scheduled for Math and Science classes throughout all years of high school.
Honor Course Placements
It is assumed that every student in an Honors course will perform at a mastery level. If a student is not performing at this level, a meeting with the counselor, teacher, student, and parent will be set up to determine the appropriate placement and/or academic support necessary to achieve a mastery level.
