Welcome to the Baldwin High School Family and Consumer Science Department Homepage

Students in the high school have the opportunity to explore multiple career paths through the Family and Consumer Science (FACS) Department in courses such as; Fashion 1, Culinary Arts, Advanced Culinary Arts, Food and Culture,Baking, Gourmet Foods, Restaurant Management, Nutrition Health and Fitness, Child Development, Independent Living, Interior Design and Life Skills.  All of these courses offer real world experiences that facilitate the mastery of skills outlined in the New York State Learning Standards guide for career Development and Occupational studies.
