Baldwin High School Seniors Bestowed Nassau Zone of the New York State AHPERD Award for 2025-2026 School Year

Baldwin High School Seniors Bestowed Nassau Zone of the New York State AHPERD Award for 2025-2026 School Year

Baldwin High School seniors, Amanda Aguiluz and Fahiem Jenkins, have been named the 2025-2026 recipients of the “Outstanding Physical Education Students of the Year” award by the Nassau Zone of the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (NYS AHPERD). The award is presented each year to one male and one female student from the graduating class who exemplifies exceptional physical performance, academic excellence, leadership skills, and a fervent commitment to fitness and an active lifestyle.

The Nassau Zone's mission is to “support, encourage, and provide guidance to educators throughout Nassau County in developing and conducting quality programs in Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance.” At the awards ceremony, the association honored Amanda and Fahiem for their remarkable achievements. The students now join a proud tradition of Baldwin alumni who have received this prestigious recognition over the years. Both Amanda and Fahiem serve as inspiring role models for their peers, motivating them to pursue similar levels of excellence.
